Wasted a bunch of time and money last year on the Q.

Took it to my local Sears for new struts - I knew the mechanic there.

They put in new Monroe struts and when I took it out on the highway it listed like a drunken sailor every time there was a bump or sway in the road. Did they screw something up in the setting or are some of the struts bad?

I'm thinking about getting some Tokico blues, but I'm thinking that maybe I need to go up the chain of command at Sears first.

Never heard of any Monroes made for the G50. Never heard of anyone here installing them.

Blues are cheap and work great. Did he replace the rubber too?

I'll have to look at the cartridge to see what it is.

I don't think the rubber was replaced.

Monroe Sensatrac p/n 71536 (front) and 71537 (rear)

No strut bearings - just struts, labor and alignment.

I might add - there's a squeak coming from the rear passenger side when the suspension compresses.

Yes Monroe makes a Sensa-Trac Strut for G50 models! Most people avoid them because they are more than the Blue Shocks that most of us run! You get more of a OEM factory feel from the Sensa-Trac but, you need to purchase the ( Strut-Mate Strut Bearing Plate ) which includes the rubber that Maxnix spoke of for around $40.00 for each strut!

Yeah, Monroe makes struts and shocks for the G50, only 90-93 though.

I got some Monroe's from Napa before I knew better. Started leaking after 15,000 miles and the ride was not that good.
