i'm a new guy to the whole nissan world, drove honda's all my life and decided i wanted something cooler, faster, and better looking, so i just bought a 1990 240SX SE with 220,000 miles on it. it runs good, but the idle is a little hard, i tested the fuel injector lines, and when i tapped them lightly, the engine bogged down quite a bit, but i don't know what else it could be. please any help, well is pretty helpful, thanks everyone.

whats done so far... -sleepy headlights -tore out the backseats

when you tapped the electrical connectors on the injectors? that would point towards bad connectors. take them off and see if they are all green. if so you can clean them with elec parts cleaner.

Can't hurt to just give her a good tune up either. Plugs, cap, rotor, wires. If it's the injector clips, just clean them and make sure everything is connected.

gabossie is right. a tuneup would be good if it has not been done. i highly reccomend getting factory parts. i have seen more cars run bad because of aftermarket cap, rotor, and wires with some junk bosch platinum plugs.
