Anybody who's had bushing issues...Does worn out bushings make your front suspension clunk around on hard turns? Or before i look at it would this be a tension rod or subframe issue?

I musta ripped through something while drifting the other night.

Odds are tension rods.

We will have them in stock for the S13s by the end of this week. We have 2 sets left for the S14.

$167 shipped for fully adjustable arms.

I got spherical bearing t/c rods and the noise went away for me. May also be upper shock mount bearings too. Or even ball joints. As suspension parts break 100k miles (hell, make that 75k miles) they loose thier effectiveness (esp. since Nissan was so nice and gave us bushings made of pudding from the factory....mine are chocolate yum) to insulate. BTW: Before you start shopping around, those SPL ones are the cheapest I could find.

Mines makin noise from the rear, but it sounds like the same clunk. Anyone have any suggestions on that? It happens while on the gas and off.

Mine Clunked and the steering wheel would vibrate left to right. The problem was bad Rack an Pinion. The rack had bad inner tie rod and it started to leak. 265 for a rebuilt rack and I am going to install it myself.

I had that problem. turns out the previous owner had put the darn H&R springs in upside down. I noticed this when I went to replace the strut mount. I also got the polyurethane tension rod bushings. It doesnt clunk as bad, but, it still does it now and then. I've noticed it mostly does it when only one side hits a bump at a time. If I go over a bump in the road that hits bot front tires at the same time, it doesnt do it. i'm thinking it may be my sway bar endlinks. Time for aftermarket sway bars. I'll just keep upgrading stuff until it goes away....lol.

Front clunk comming from TC bushings AND OR Strut top mount.

It made a huge difference relacing these items.

The noise in the rear may be sub frame bushings... very easy and cheap to replace or possibly other worn suspension bushings.

We jsut dis the whole whiteline bushing set from PDM and problem was solved

Reasabrook--- I got a 91 rack and pinnion I can give you if you pay to ship... stripped it from a 91 a few months back

PS Nismo Freaks TC arms are very cool too... I would have bought those if I had seen them

Just checked it on a lift and Tension Rod bearings (stock) are shot and spooged.

...really? I need some stat. do they do overnight shipping or 2 next day? Thats pretty cheap now compared to other companies. And how do they hold up compared to others, such as TEIN?
