Hey guys whats up? Ive been having a problem with my car when ever its cold (motor). Whenever I crank the car, I gotta hold the gas pedal a little bit other wise it will just die out right away. After that, the idle is fine and for the rest of the day it will start just fine, if it doesnt sit for a while. Ive got a short ram intake but it used to do that before as well. Any input would help a lot, thanks!

IACV is new and it did that before I changed it as well. Battery is fine I guess as it cranks just fine, it just wont idle for the first 2-3 secs without some throttle.

^ hmm.. weird but my filter is pretty new (300zx). Maybe you just flooded it out because with my car it sounds like it runs rich for the first few secs, it sputters and sounds like a misfire or two but then smoothens out perfectly. Idk, i hate this idle crap the KA's have. Anyway later bro, lemme know how your car turns out.

Hey guys.. Idk, cuz it starts fine once it warms up, even if it sits for a while. I checked the cts, and its fine. I look into the problem further. Thanks for the replies guys!

also, check for grime and buildup around your throttle butterfly, cuz it could be choking it, while feeding fuel until you break it open. Sticking butterflys are a biscuititch. there is barely a mm of space for idle air to flow.

I doubt the problem is that severe. Ive tested all vacuum/intake with carb cleaner and nothing so far. My tb is pretty clean but I guess I will give it another whirl. Ive read that the filter in the fuel pump maybe clogged up so I will look into that also. thanks for the replies guys!

BTW.. I hate stupid little bs problems like this!!
