Hard clutch + sticking?

My clutch as I've recently been informed is incredibly hard, you press on it and your knee hurts, that kinda hard. Due to my legs constantly being sore from work+ the gym I haven't really noticed lol

It catches you know right at bottom, a mint clutch but sometimes it sticks early in the morning when I first go to start it up.

Before I bought it had been sitting for a while, started up occasionally but not really used.

Any ideas? It's a '98 GXE.

Throwout bearing?
