Hard and Rough shifting? Try BG

Hi:

I got my J about 3 months ago. At first, I felt the transmission shifts kinda hard (from 1st to 2nd), so I got a AFT flush at Mr. Lube using their "T-Tech". However, those stupid mechanics overfilled ATF by 500cc and the trans still shifted hard after the flush.

I went to Infiniti dealer and they drained the extra 500cc ATF, the trans was happy but no for long. The problem of hard shifting re-appeared in a couple weeks.

Yesterday, I went to Midas and got a "BG Transmission Service". AFTER THE BG SERVICE, BIG BIG BIG DIFFERENCE. The transmission shifts so smoothly and fast. Besides, the engine pulls more smoothly as well.

I really want to be fair and not overly state the benifit of BG service, but it really makes a big difference. Don't think that the BG Service will give you a brand new trans, but it really restores the performance to a point where you will feel the car is younger.

The service is not cheap tho, about 170CND. Worth it? YES, and I really recommend it.

BG is good stuff but how does your "engine pulls more smoothly as well" if it was just a transmission service?

I guess the trans drains less torque?

I got check this service out. Haven't seen a Midas franchise in Ontario advertise this service.
