Just thought I'd say Happy Turkey Day to all of you. It's about 1AM here and I'm about to make the 7hr drive home so I can spend it with my family. Hope you all have a good weekend too!

I won't bring up the fact that this holiday marks the begining of the end for my mom's ancestors...big up to to the Choctaw and Lakota tribes of La. and Canada.....

I'll just say happy Thanksgiving because the day represents the unity, cooperation, and thanks that should be given for the lives we live free everyday. To my brothers and sisters across seas who can't be with their families and definitely to those who have lost their family members across the waters...my family wishes you a blessed holiday season.

If anybody wants to come by, my menu for today is:

Duck with Honey Mango Glaze stuffed with Gingered Cornbread stuffingCrawfish EtoufeeSquash and Zuchinni CasseroleSauteed Green BeansGarlic-Dill Mashed PotatoesHomemade Biscuitsand for dessert...Apple-Pear Cake

I felt like cooking today. Takes away my pain.

Enjoy yourselves responsibly people.
