ALRIGHT! I blew my turbo gasket...:D:D:D:D :ylsuper

This is just what I was waiting for. Now I must go through with putting the T28 in there. I gotta.

So, I am now in the process of getting all the stuff I need to do both T28 and the Chaser 1JZ FMIC at the same time. I just ordered the intake flange from Marco Vargas, and I am getting an actuator bracket made to fit the S13 SR HKS actuator I bought a long time ago...

I know I will need silicone couplers and a smaller battery ()...and I will need a new turbo-to-dp gasket and exhst-mani-to-engine gasket....so, umm, do you guys think I will need new oil and water lines?? Anything else you guys can think of?? This is my first turbo swap, and while being really excited, I'm kinda nervous. I don't want to forget anything! (this is like having sex for the first time!!)

most everything should fit, oil and water lines will need a lil bending other then that i will line up. but i would spend 40-50 and get some ss lines for the oil feed. also you have the oil return part? they are slightly differnt sizes from the t25 to the t28 and will need rigging to fit and if you cant find a gasket to fit there , you can buy gasket paper from advance auto parts and cut your own gaskets

Some company, can't remember the name of it off hand, makes stainless oil and water lines for the T28 conversion on SR's, so it should work on CA's too.

Actually you don't need new water lines (or have to bend em), just reclock (unscrew the 13mm bolts a few turns that hold the core in the exhaust housing) the turbo core a bit till the water lines line up.I would recommend a new oil feed line for sure, cause although the old one will line up after the reclock u still have to rebend it (to clear the compressor housing).

BTW it's totally possible that a used turbo does not like the idea to get reclocked :rolleyes , the last T28 (i reclocked 2 turbos before) was not willing to move, we tried everything (heat, breaker bars, etc and finally got to the point when i decided to leave the garage before the turbo got destroyed, so the owner could take the responsibility :D ).My friend ended up buying stainless water and oil lines, and luckily the turbo runs fine although he already got some very good "hammering"!

Ok, just so you guys know, the T25 oil return flange and the T28 one are NOT the same >_<

The bolts on the T28 turbo are closer together. I'm slotting the freaking flange. grrr

Oh, and one of the bolts on the dump pipe doesn't line up with the turbo. I just tightened the other ones really good, and I hope I won't have any problems *cross fingers*
