I dont understand camping, but I love hiking, woods, and lakes. Beautiful photo!

Yeah it was cold and rainy. were only three mile form the snow. here are some more pics from the trip.This is our camp site.This is one of the "Bumpus Hounds" His name is Dan.Here is his sister "Ann"One of the yodas in the fog.My good buddys subie going through some big mud puddle.When camping you got to have a nice fire to warm your coffee.yea goin crazy in the woods.Cool moon through the trees.King of the hill in the fog.I carve my pumpkins with my pellet gun What a view.Toyota in the mist.

We also brought a full aresenal of gun. 2 .30-06 's, 1 30-30. 3 12Ga shot guns.2 .22's, 1 9mm and my .177cal pellet gun and about 2000 rounds of ammo.

I dont know about turkeys, but people asked us if we were hunting Bears cause we had the hound dogs.

Hell yeah!

I love camping around here too! There are great spots all around Virginia like Skyline drive (haha) or the locks on the C&O canal, or even the Maryland side of Great Falls and the Blue Ridges just beyond...I think i need to go again soon.

I remember well when I was still in boyscouts 12 years ago, going camping up in the mountains in Washington State. Whether it was winter, spring, summer or fall, we went camping and I enjoyed every bit of it. Though i'm a big wimp now and my leg hates cold weather so i don't do it anymore lol
