Well said, both of you ! The news machines don't say much on the war anymore - they need viewers and war doesn't "sell" as well as scandal. If you are, or if you know a VET: tell them we have not and will not forget everything they do every day to protect people they don't even know, whilst defending a country they truly love.

as a Vet i thank every other Vet i come across! i had the extreme pleasure of serving in the US Army for 8 years and also served with some of the greatest men and women i will ever know!! i would also like to thank all of you out there who support our armed forces both here and abroad...let us not forget the extreme sacrifices of those who are not with us anymore...and one final note let us not forget the other Vets from other countries who stood valiantly next to us to defend against the evils of the world!! thank you all and have a great Memorial Day!!
