Basically, this is an intro to the drift forumFINALLY, i got my lsd installed...ne way...i've been reading these forums for a while, but never posted cuz i felt like my car wasn't an "official" drift car becuz i still had an open diff. i didn't post cuz it drives me nutts when some kids are post hores, and don't even have a car. so i felt the same about this drift forum. yea i have drifted b4, but only real legit drifts where in the rain. i'm all about sus. and don't care too much about power. my dohc has plenty enought to get me there. but i'm real excited to have my new diff. now, and i can't wait to build my skillz. question...for those of you who do have lsd installed, how did you get used to it? did you just find an empty parking lot, or just kinda adapted as you went? Damn i can't wait to get the rest of my suspension. i plan on getting coilovers next. leaning towards SPL/KTS (suggestions welcome).Click my website in my sig to check out my 240. 1

lol, yeah i just put my nismo 2way in my s13 last week and first time trying a drift was a spin out then its easy as ****. the car gets sideways so easy now its awesome, i think the best way to learn how to drift is to try with a open diff as much as possible because you have to try so much harder to get sidways and keep control of it, then with a good lsd in its almost effortless getting sideways and cotrolling it a lot better, its like driving on snow.
