Hi all!Just got finished testing my photos to see if they work,so now let me introduce myself.I'm Carlos and I live in San Jose,CA.I own a 97 SE auto,I Christmas gift from my wife.This is my second 240,I had a 93 SE and I loved it,buy it was too small for kids back then.Now I have this car because we have the suv for family needs.

Thanks for the compliament,it was really a chance find,I was having breakfast at Ihop and I grabbed the local free ads and there it was.Price was right and it was soo clean,almost too clean,like it was rebulit.But oh well I went for it because I really wanted a 97-up.cheers lovenismo!!carlos.

Thanks for the welcoming,very nice of you!!I am already learning alot and using what I remember from back in tha day!!I was checking on idle issues and brake squeal issues and of course the dreaded broken power antenna issue!!Oh and let me introduce my son, his name is Nikolas

I call him NIKO for short,(I swear I did'nt plan that! )

Most of everything I know about the 240 came from collecting info from NICO, all in together we have the best most complete forum on the web! Nikolas looks more ready to roll than ever, big congrats man. My baby is due June 1. Ill be going active duty for the army March 15 to reclass. Dont know where thell send me after that... As long as my family is comfortable I dont care where I go hopefully though I hope we stay in the u.s. for obvious reasons. Althogh Germany wouldnt be bad...ok Im rambling. Nonetheless its great to meet you and get a chance to introduce myself.

You have a great woman there man. Definate keeper. My wife was also instrumental in getting me my Zenki.

Power antenna problem got me too. Just waiting till February to fix it.

Hi kepani,I don't have major plans for the car at this time other than a drop in air filter and maybe a synthetic oil change.I need to save my coin for my other hobby,I have an 01 Ducati 996 that I am servicing myself.All told I am gonna spend about $4K on parts and tools for my bike.I just wanted a reliable car with high style and my 240 is it!!!Aloha!!!

Hi M-N,Yeah,my wife is tops,she backs me with my Ducati passion and the fact that I wanted this car soo bad..

I paid $6995 last week it has 98,000 miles.It seems to be fully loaded I am still trying to find what options were offered that year.As with all used cars from a lot,the manuals were gone...

The car came from So Cal according to carfax,I hope to find the previous owner someday to find out why he or she got rid of it..

I must say,auto works for me!!!I drive an 18 wheeler for a living and I have my Ducati, so one vehicle without a clutch is nice,ya know??

Hey lovenismo, I hope you can stay stateside as well, the closer the better to family I must say.Better prepare now for the arrival!!I hope you have something bigger for the family,I just took the wife and kids in my Kouki to Best Buy last night,and I nearly crushed my daughters legs and Niko put his foot through the pass seat into my wife's back!!You take it easy and be safe my friend...carlos.

sounds cool! i'm looking to do a major service on my s14. seems as though the car could have had better days. my steering rack likes to wander...especially on the highway.
