remember prodigy

I was on Sprynet as my second ISP (had some local service first). It was sold to Compuserv. Then Compuserv was sold to AOL and parts of the nextwork were sold to Earthlink. I remember using Mosaic to browse the web. Well before MSIE and Netscape. Though, I remember in the 80's dialing up my friend's modem and chatting with him on my C64. I still have that old computer.

Anybody every played the game Hitchhiker on DOS? It rocked!

If you're not sure, it was the game based on the book, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe" which spawned an ab fab BBC show which brought to life another great BBC hit, "Red Dwarf".
