89 240sx with 110,000mi. :}i took off my passenger fender lining this weekend and i noticed that there was a bar (or arm) hanging from the frame of my car. should it be attached to the lip or is that there only for sway bars and should not be attached to the lip without sway bars?

i am sorry i am unable to get pictures at this time. it is a bar maybe 8" long and it is on either side of the front of car. just where the ends of the lip is located, there is a bar or arm there.

You might be referring to a support bar for the bumper. Hard to say without looking at it though...
