using a Galaxy Note 4 on latest OS

Bluetooth works great and connects to everything it needs too. Using it in my car to stream music and talk on the hands free system is important and it worked great until I got a smartwatch...
Smartwatch is a LG Urbane

This may need to go to smartwatch forum but I figures I would start here.

once connected to my car and my smartwatch the phone calls are not clear. There are long duration's where I cannot hear the other party or they can not hear me. IF I disconnect the smartwatch from the phone, my car works normally again.
Fast forward to my new radar detector that connects to my phone for Iradar service is causing the same problem with my Bluetooth hands free car phone.

in summary I have these things paired to my device: All are paired, but grayed out (not connected) I assume running in background. My car is the only connection showing active connection.
Fit Bit paired
LG Urbane paired
Radar Detector paired
Car Bluetooth. connected

The Car Bluetooth is the only thing that is suffering here.

has anyone had this problem and if so is there a fix?

Got a few questions. You're using a Galaxy Note 4 with the latest OS, but you didn't mention which carrier. Do you have navigation?

If you haven't already, start by checking here: http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/search

Nissan/Infiniti limits the number of paired phones to five different phones. I'll assume that would also mean five different bluetooth devices.

FAQ's:
Q: How many phones can I pair?
A: The system supports up to five different phones. However, only one phone can be used at a time.

This may explain why the other devices are greyed out. The system allows only one device at a time. And I'd hazard a guess that it's optimized to work with cell phones, but may not play nice with other devices, especially a newer gadget like the smartwatch.

The Grayed out items are on my phone not the car and my car does have Nav.

Im thinking this may be a issue with my phone having too many things connected to it...

Can't really help much other than to say that I have an LG G4 running the latest OS (5.1) and also have a smartwatch (Moto360 v1). No issues here. I also have an OBD-II dongle connected via BT to my phone/car at all times.

The only difference is I don't have 'audio' connected for the car...just phone as I have an iPod and don't stream audio from the phone.

Oh, thanks for the clarification. You might be onto something with your assessment. You could try un-pairing everything, then adding them back one at a time to see which one or combination might be causing the hiccup. :frown:
