I had a 205/65-15 tires on my 2000 Nissan Maxima. I recently changes to 245/55-18. I have been noticing lot more of pulling to the sides while I drive on veritcally waved roads. Tires are little bit bigger, and set of new wheels and tires are heavier than the older one. What could be the problem? How do I go about fixing it?Thank you very much.

torque steer

out of balance

improper PSI equally on tires side to side

theres my 3 stabs at it....

if the tires are balanced right, have the same pressure, then your stuck with one of three possibilities........

since u just put on new tires maybe one tire is defective and doesn't want to ride straight....

the added weight increases your torque steer when u get on the gas

the added weight of the new wheels/tires whiped out a part of your suspension/steering

thank for you response.

couple of things to note is:

1. I noticed the pulling to a side right after I put the wheels and tires.

2. It doesn't pull when I'm driving on flat roads.

3. It's perfectly balanced, and they all have the same PSI.

4. It pulls whether or not I step on the gas. It does it even when I'm coasting.

5. I probably should also note that the pulling is more noticeable at lower speed.

Tire tread design has a lot to do with it as well. My Yokohama DB S2's pulled far worse than the kumho tires I have now.
