First, if we could avoid the "i've driven both and such and such 'feels' like it handles better" it would be much appreciated. I'm looking for hard facts here on the advantages/disadvantages of either car. Skid-pad #'s etc. So far i know that the S14 has a longer wheel base and slightly stiffer suspension than the S13, so it should carve slightly better, but then there is the issue of the extra 200 or so lbs. So lets hear it.:D

imo lighter means better handling. So i am guessing the S13 probably handles better. Its also closer to 50/50 distribution than the S14. Btw s14 is only 100lbs heavier not 200.

lighter does mean better handling, less weight transfer. i was under the impression that the two cars are almost the same, you would have to look up their wheel bases tho, im not sure. a wider wheel base also means less weight transfer. someone would have to verify this, but i also think the s13 had a stiffer suspension than the s14, then again i cant say which components are responsable for this. as far potential handling ability, given what i know (not much about the s13), they are probably the same.

now that i see how much i dont know about the s13, i am very interested in hearing someone elses opinion =)

June 1994 issue of Car and Driver, 1995 240sx SE pulls .89g's. I don't know if the s13 could beat that.

93Max, that's just what i was looking for. Thanks. I believe the S13 pulls .90 stock, so the difference is probably insignificant.
