handbrake light on 1995 nissan sunny van

i have a diesel 1700 nissan sunny van and the handbrake light wont go out i have checked both the switch and the fluid and both are fine.what else might it be i am also looking a wiring diagram for this vehicle of can you help

I know nothing of this van you speak of, but check that the brake lights and their fuses are in good order.

is the connection were you plug the sensor into the brake master cylinder clean?
