Hey all, it's been slow moving for me, special with the holidays... Finally got to working on the emergency/hand/parking brake but after taking everything apart, cleaning and applying antiseize to everything, I realized while putting everything back together that I may be missing parts based on the catalog...

Here is what I have (I'm missing the items I marked in red although it's probably hard to see in the pics):

Does anyone have a picture of the entire setup? Or artless the portion of the line that I'm missing? Thanks!!!

Your in luck. I'm cleaning the 320 and 510 crate-o-parts so everything is already out and readily accessible - give me a few. I'm hoping my 510 stuff might work. I just scanned eBay and the Datsun emergency brake search turned up the neonman52's 320 e-brake, but your particular parts are not in the photos.

Okay, I do not think you need these parts. Starting from the driver side cab where the cable comes through the floor -


To the center line of the truck in front of the cross member -

This is where the part cluster should be.

Center line of truck behind the cross member -


And from here the emergency cable goes to the left and right rear drums.

As you can see my '65 does not have these parts either. If it did then this cluster of parts would go from the cable, Assembly, Hand Brake, Middle (36444-08701) to the Assembly Arm Center Link (36421-08701). This might be for a Right Hand Drive model, but you would think the parts would be marked accordingly.

Thanks Andy! Those pics you posted are EXACTLY how mine looked before I took them off (to the point where I thought you used my pics!).

But that's strange that those other parts are listed in the catalog...

Yeah, no idea. RHD or Nissan decided to go with the long spring to save some money. I was getting a little nervous when I could not find these in my crate for the '62 parts truck. The e-brake is all zip tied together and double bagged. I looked at all of my 320 and I only have that long spring on one, so thanks for that.
