I realized recently that my Ham Radio License expires in March this year and decided to renew it. After renewing it, I realized "man, I haven't bought a new radio in forever," so I went out and bought a new radio. Then, I decided that I needed a new antenna on my car for it, and I realized that I had caught the bug again. I'm sure KC5F knows what I'm talking about
Below are some pics of the install. I wanted something that wasn't going to look aweful but still work good. I went with an adjustable hatch mount and a 20" antenna, coated black to match the car and hold up to the weather a little better.

Hi,
I'm trying to set up an HF ham radio rig in my 2009 Versa. Could you give me some of the details of what you have on your versa? What mount did you use on the hatchback lid? What is the model number exactly? I think I see that it is the "Diamond" brand, but what model?
Had any problems with it, when opening the hatch? I'm probably going with one of those Yaesu ATAS 120 antennas, which is heavier than your antenna but not real bad.
