i was recently contacting the tech gurus at haltech about the fuel/ignition maps on my haltech and they told me that the shop CA18DET they had there, finally made it into a car that was running well into the 12's, thought i could share it with ya'll, hopefully i can SQUEEEZE some info and maybe a lil tweaking on my maps from them gotta datalog some dyno tuns..

and i dont know if its only me, but i think this car has ALLOT more in it with some slicks as it looks like he is running street tires, also that dyno was only at just below 6K rpm, peake hp/tq was that low?

that thing can definately go quicker down the 1/4 than that!my mate did a 12.8 in his CA18DET Datsun 1600.....and he only had around 200HP!and was also running street tyres.....and pretty much no suspension in the back.....lol

so with a bit of playing around....thats easily a 11 sec car.
