I don't think I can save it, but I wanna try. This thing has been sitting outta commision since winter, and I haven't got a clue when it got it's protective covering taken off, so it's been exposed to the elements on the side of the house.

I don't know if there's a spark, if the gas is bad ( probably is. It's been sitting with the same fuel since last winter and gas only lasts for 6 months ). It's Bolens I believe, 4 stroke. Ideas on where to begin?

what made you stop using it? I'd say the usual culprit in dead mowers is old oil and gas or flywheel Key.

get some fresh gas in it and clean out the carb.

check for spark. Just take the plug out and leave the wire on and crank....

^ That.

Fresh fuel, a can of starting fluid, and a new spark plug usually fixes even the stubbornest of old mowers.
