hi i just installed hallman es mbc on my stock redtop sr. boost went up from 7 to 9psi and turbo spool up alot faster. is that the most boost i can get from hallman? or do i have to upgrade to front mouunt intercooler, fuel pump, and bigger injector? i turn it it all the way to 1/2 inch from what initial spec of 3/4.

what does it say the hallman mbc is good for as far as psi? as far as running a stock turbo and intercooler the turbo is good for 14 -15psi the factory side mount IC is good for 10psi which is where heat soak occurs but it can be run none the less at 13-14psi..factory 370cc injectors are good for the same...the factory fuel pump you should really upgrade asap as well as the fuel filter to a TT 300zx

ru asking if the mbc is capeable of turning the boost higher or is your setup capeable of handling the higher boost? if its the first...yes you can turn it higher than 9...i had mine at 12 psi for a while (fmic + fuel pump)

The information in your post and your title is not easy to understand.

As mentioned above, it is not clear whether you are asking about MBC's ability to make more boost or your car's ability to make more boost.

Anyways, do you still have the stock fuel pump? If so, I would actually bring down the boost. It's risking it even with stock SR setup. I would not go any higher than what you have now.

Also, MBS's capability to reach certain amount of boost really depends on the base boost set by your wastegate actuator. So basically, depding on the spring mechanism in your MBC, you can either add X amount of boost to your base boost or add X+Y amount of boost (Y being the extra amount by going stiffer spring in your MBC). So as you can see, the MBC and the wastegate actuator combined determines the highest boost you can theoretically run.
