I have a 1992 maxima that I am replaceing the clutch and pressure plate and need to remove the darn passenger side axle and am having trouble with the bearing bracket. If I slide the transaxle out will the halfshaft fall out or do I have to remove the center bearing bracket?DJ

Yeah, you're going to need to remove the bearing bracket to get the driveshaft clear. A U-joint flex fitting for your socket is your friend, there.

Is it such a tight fit, that a little tapping would not remove it?
