half of cluster gauge backlight not coming on...how to remove gauge cluster?

hi gang,this is my first post here even though i have been lurking around for close to a year. finally registered this week.anyways, i just picked up a 2001 pathfinder LE in pristine condition for a steal. guy was going through a divorce and had to sell it quick. leather sunroof etc. drives amazing.only thing is that one half of the gauge cluster does not light up. it works fine but the backlight does not come on.the speedometer and everything on the left lights up but the tachometer and everything on the left don't light up.

has anyone encountered something similar?I am guessing may its the bulb or something and would like to check before thinking about buying a new gauge cluster. how many bulbs light up the gauge cluster and how do i remove. I have searched the forums but came up with no luck.i appreciate any help.

its very simple to do. Get a screw driver, look at the gauge cluster and there should be two screws on the surounding plastic piece. Once you remove the screws, take off that plastic trim piece and then there should be a couple screws attaching the gauge cluster to the vehicle, remove those and the cluster should come free. Then you look on the back and take the bulb thats burnt out and take it to schucks and get a new one, then put it in and put humpty dumpty back together again
