well,i know they sell CTR and ITR half cuts, they cut the car in half then send it over as a parts car. they are like 8000 for an ITR. i was hoping to find a half cut so i could make a RHD silvia. but i geuss i'll just find a front clip...

dude, from what you are telling us, a half cut is the same as a front clip. With a silvia front clip be careful of who you buy from, if you want the whole thing (lights, body panels, guages, interior trim etc.) then be very specific with the person selling it to you. Make sure you get what you pay for.

i always though front clips are firewall forward. half cut cars that i've seen are the whole entire car cut in half. but i geuss honda half cuts are differant than nissan half cuts. yep, i'll take my time and find the best place to get one. thanks.

front clips are the firewall forward. I think they missed that you need part of the interior because you want to make it RHD.

It all depends. The ITR half-cuts he's talking about is truly a half cut car. They usually take out the seats then cut the car so that the dash is complete and undamaged.. a front clip doesn't always come with the whole dash, and when it does it's not always undamaged (seen lots of them with burns from the sparking when cutting the car)

From what I've seen, front clip usually entails everything from the firewall forward.

Why you no good... this "honduh boy" helped rebuild your motor, and was there when it finally started again.

Random Dude at gas station: "Smell like sumthin burnin!"Brett: "Yep... that would be my car."

as far as that "there are just too many integras on the road" guy... good, now there's one less. :D

Hey, if you wanna race just come over to my house... I'm sure my car will make it long enough to smoke your 240sx. :)

New crank should be here next week, then it's time to teardown and rebuild... again!

P.S.- I think we hijacked this thread. :ylsuper

you guys are nuts.

Cory, most importers of Nissans don't do half cuts. They usually onle deal in front clips.

You CAN find half cuts. They are just rare (unlike Hondas where everyone and their brother knows where one is :) )

There is a company in Florida (Performance Imports I believe was their name) that imports half cut Nissans from England where they are RHD as well.
