Last weekend I decided to put some stickier 27" DOT tires (hoosier quicktimes) and take my personal street car to the track. I have only made 3 passes in the car prior (11.0 on 18" street tire setup) and this day showed what a little seat time will do.

Quick info: Full weight, full interior (including spare tire), uncaged:o, 27" DOT tires, VP Q16 fuel, no nitrous installed on the car.

Run 1 - 10.8 @ 145 (1.9 60')Run 2 - 10.1 @ 146 (1.77 60') Run 3 - 9.8 @ 148 (1.66 60') Run 4 - Launched harder and got a little squirly, aborted run

Absolutely BEASTLY!

Nice to see a Z33 do what I am so used to seeing R34's do for so long.

Just got home, they block streaming @ work. Awesome....

You should be on Pass Time! I bet they would never guess how fast your Z is.

(it's a show on speed network where contestants try to guess the quarter mile time of various cars)

What model is your Z? Base....Touring......

I also had the chance to see the video now (not just the numbers).

The car looks very twitchy and hard to control, especially at the end of the run. But I guess it's normal for this kind of power.

Woohooo! 4 digit horsepower and single digit pass.

It doesn't get any better than that.

Did you see God?

I was a passenger in a (02, 03?) Carrera 4 Turbo travelling way north of 170mph and I swear I could see the curvature of the earth, lol.

My signature reflects another 350Z I drive - our shop's green 350z. It ran a best of 8.8 1/4mile, and is now being upgraded to go faster.

My black 350z shown here makes 772whp.

Hal, just off the top of your head... ballpark figure... whatever...How much would it cost for a 750+ whp "Hal-type", "low 10 second", power kit? (Stroker ?, internals, ECU, plenum, axles, clutch, turbo, everything)

Package it all, semi-bolt-on, and ship it to Europe. (expensive shipping )

How much would that cost? (so I can start saving up and getting it).

P.S. The semi-bolt-on needs to be good, since I don't trust a Europe-based shop to do the tune/fine-tune. They can install a turbo, but won't map out your ECU (for example). So it needs to be straight forward.

P.P.S. For a 350Z Roadster, VQ35DE "rev-up" -> new engine, just replaced it under warranty - it may have some 2009 "factory internal mods"? ?? don't know.

Thanks.

There are so many factors involved there is no way I can come up with a number like that 'off the top of my head'. Please email me or call if you would like to look at some options.
