Wow, that's terrible for anyone who left their cars outside. Those chunks of hail will do some damage.

My drive back from Miami last weekend had me caught in a hail storm . My real worry was the front or rear window breaking. Luckily nothing bad happened .

Hail...they look like iceballs. That would knock you silly. Noticed you said you put the Q inside...what about the cat and dog? Nothing much happened down here in Chi-town. Hey squee....what about that rally?

How did your house fare? We had a major hail storm here back in 2000, and an entire side of town looked like it got sprayed with an automatic weapon! Vinyl siding does not hold up well to high velocity ice balls... neither do roofs.

I looked at one house that literally had little pinholes of light showing in the garage! The hail had gone through the siding and the insulation board behind it! (the inside did not have sheetrock)...

Can you imagine filing a claim for hail damage to your car that was parked inside the garage?

Q45 Luckily it missed my area .It cut through Arlington and went to Ft.Worth .Houses destroyed . Cars so banged up you couldnt tell what it was . and my worst memory is all the dead animals everywhere .Armagedon like. I had to drive through the aftermath on a service call in Ft Worth.Freaky day for sure.

My cousin brought an Accord with hail damage once. He drove it to Florida, parked it in a mall parking lot and went inside for a few hours. He forgot his usual practice of leaving his windows opened a crack for ventilation and rolled them up all the way. It was over a hundred degrees that day and when he returned to the car, he kept hearing loud pops. He got closer and saw that the dents were popping back out due to the heat. Just about every dent popped back out for free!
