So, hot and dry as hell, AND golfball-sized hail? I don't get the draw of living in the desert.

Love you Mike, but you're way off. See, it was 78 degrees today with a slight breeze... 355 days of sunshine is spectacular.

That was the first significant hail in YEARS, occurred in a 10-20 square mile area, and was gone in 2 minutes.

Nothing rusts, nothing rots, no one sweats, racing every weekend, car shows every Saturday night, girls wear skimpy clothes year-round, no one owns a snow shovel, no icy roads, no raking leaves, no humidity, swimming in November... did I mention we've been driving with the top down all week?

:)

What's really funny is there were a TON of "hail damage repair" stations EVERYWHERE.

Paintless dent repair guys were booked for a MONTH STRAIGHT.

Sad part: All the redneck morons who took the insurance check, didn't fix their not-yet-paid-off car, and think they hit the jackpot, still driving their golf-ball-looking POS. :(

I wish their lender would call the loan or make them repay the money.

That HHR looks kind of cool with the dents all over it. I mean, you can't make an HHR look worse.

I remember a nasty hail storm several years ago in my home town. Golf ball sized nuggets coming down for about 15 minutes.

Vehicle windows cracked/shattered, tree branches and leaves just shredded. Was epic.

I once was caught outside in a hail storm. Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Ill. Was there with my cousins and other family when dark clouds started to roll in. Started to rain a bit, so we were headed to the car and then it started hailing. Just little ones, but man, those little bishes sting when they hit you in the forehead. LOL.
