Last night a descent storm came through the Kansas area. I unfortunately had to work til midnight so my car was just soaking up the storm in the parking lot. Some golf ball-Softball size hail was reported. I checked my car after work and didn't see anything but this morning in the light was a little different. I counted around 12 dents. 3 were very noticeable (1 on roof 2 on hood) the rest I'm not too worried about.

Anyone have any past experience with bodyshops and cost of paintless dent repair?

Also at the walmart in my town they got a new line of car detailers by Surf City Garage. Anyone used this? Any reviews?

My son's 06 Honda Civic had hail damage... over 100 dents
had it done at a Paintless dent repair franchise in Buffalo, N.Y.
Insurance paid for it ...about $ 2,700 .. a lot of money...
but the results were awesome..... you can absolutely not see
a single dent....and I'm very fussy...good luck

Yea I'm hoping three can be fixed for cheap. Theres only 10-12 if you look real hard so I don't really want to pay a $500 deductible that would only really take out 3 dents....I'm gonna get some quotes this week so we'll see.

Go with paintless dent repair. Those guys are magicians. I've used them many times to get out door dings in several cars I've owned. Last time I was in they were working on a Ford truck with hundreds of hail dents. One by one they were working them out, amazing stuff.

Got one quote today before i had to start a 12 hour shift. They said it'd be around $150-200 for the 3 dents.....I'm going to go to a few more places and hopefully someone will go a little lower considering most places in the area have enough business bc of that storm ha :chuckle:
