I think that is the dumbest use of 1,000 bucks that I can imagine.

Can you imagine sitting there loading 144 rubber bands? It would make a fun office weapon. Go postal on your coworkers without actually killing them!

I saw one of those once, but it was smaller and the entire barrel portion snapped on and off, allowing you to pre-load like 6 of them and load them like clips. That one was also only like $300, but it was black plastic.

Rubberband guns are cool, regardless. I had found a site for BB miniguns once, that looked genuinely like the real GE Minigun (a la Terminator 2), but they were like $4000.

I second that notion...If I had a grand you can trust it wont be spent on a rubber band shooter. HOwever, it would be cool if you could make one. Then again I wouldn't spend my time making a rubber band shooter either. It's cool if you could afford it I guess.

$1,000?!?!?!?!?!!?

I could build one for about $50...maybe less!

That'd be fun as HELL mounted in the bed of my Ranger!

YES! That is the site I'm talking about. That is too damned cool.

I wouldn't drop $1000 on a Rubber Band minigun, but I might think about dropping $2k on a BB minigun....If I had it

I just don't get the rubberband minigun. Yeah, it's cool that it can fire 100 rubberbands in 5 seconds or whatever, but you have to load them by hand still. For $1000? C'mon! Pipe smokers.

I don't like that they faked it so much. I'm sure all the smoke, fire and explosions were rigged up. Unplugged TVs just don't catch fire (and so quickly too) no matter what you do to them.
