well after I cleaned my throttle body out I of course took the car for a drive. Couldn't tell much of a difference, but that's prob cause I had a slight buzz (can't work on cars with out beer!) So i swing by a local gas station to take a piss, when I come out of the restroom this dudes like that's your car? I'm like yeah...and he's like that's a sweet car man. So I'm like thanks man it's pretty bad ***. So we get to talking, he knows general knowledge about it (more than your avg person might know) and I mention how I'm about to buy a 92 model and drop the jdm motor in. He's like what this car isn't japenese?? And i'm like yes it is but the motor isn't the same motor that's in the car in japan. So he runs outside and looks at my vin # and is like "This is too japanese!! It starts with JN I work for toyota I know this stuff." He's not being a smartass or anything he just thought I was wrong. So I try to explain to him that the us didn't get the sr20det, but he couldn't understand. He thought that maybe it was a package offer and my car just didn't have the sr package. Anyways I just thought I'd tell you peeps that cause I still have a good buzz going
