haha lexus winter beater...

Ok,. so me and a friend of mine where driving the Q around,,..just cruising along, when we see a guy in a lexus 300 at a gas station,. well,. i was thirsty anywaz, .so we stopped,..i park next to the guy,.thinking at most, he'll just look at the q,. and admire it,. ,... so i go in and get my drink, .and come back out,. and the guy ,. ...middle aged guy,..is beside my car talking to my friend about my car,.i walk up to them,. and we start talking,. about the comparisions,.(the guy thought he had a leg up on me),.. so i ask him,. if he knew about anyone that had any good snow tires for sell,. as i pointed to my tires to show him what i meant,. he said he didn't,.. then i asks him if he was selling his car, .he says ,no why?,. and i tell him,..' well, i was thinking about putting the Q in the garage and buying a winter beater,",...i totally said it as a joke,. but this guy's face got vall types of red, and he stormed to his car and peeled,..(chirped) off,. it was awesome,. just thought i'd share that with ya guys,..

I enjoy asking customers if they've seen who knocked Lexus out of their #1 position in the JD Power initial quality and customer satisfaction surveys... :D

I actually have a friend that went with a ES300 to avoid the RWD problems in the winter and all she does is complain about the TCS light coming on in the rain. God help her when it snows. And yes she has good/new tires.

I think it's a suitable winter beater.

I love it when people get burned, really bad. That was awesome. I still wouldn't drive a Lexus as a winter beater anyhow, the shame!

Got a bunch of snow last night. Most of it melted today but more to come. But I'd really luv to have a Jag X-Type 3.0 or G35x on Blizzaks of course, for just such a situation...:twitch:

i love how anyone who drives a lexus thinks it's better than all Infinti's put together. My friend was stunned when he sat in my J and realized it had better features then his ES, he payed 11,000 BTW.

on another note, old jeeps are great winter-beaters.
