When me and my two buddies went to put them on they were both saying they looked like funky springs they said that to the front ones with the bee hive shape and when we went to compress them on to the strut his compressor tool wasn't even close to compressing them enough so then we took it to pep boys to see if they could just put the spring on the strut for only the front 2, one spring was already off the strut and they wanted $101 to do that and we also went to 2 other places and said the same price I think thats an outragous price so now I'm stuck.

This is the hardest part about putting on these springs. You have to find the two sweet spots to compress on the spring. When I put mine on I also could only press them so much. So my friend and I just put the spring on the strut and put the top hat on and tried to get the master bolt on. We were just able to get it to screw on and seat it properly.

Give this a try and Email me if you have anymore problems!

i got stuck at that part too, i took both front struts to meineke (i believe) and they compressed the old springs off the strut and put the eibachs on for $20..... the spring compressors i had were garbage and $20 isnt bad considering itll save a good 2 hours of work.

and yea your price is ridiculous

Thanks ricko and toxik ur a big help. Im prolly going to do both try finding the sweet spot then if that doesnt work go to a shop that can do it for like $20.

seemed pretty easy to compressed to me..i rented 1 from autozone and just placed one on 3 of the bars and the other on 2 of the bars exactly opposite from each other and I had only hand tools(which took long ) and just compressed them AS MUCH as they could go and when you put that top hat thingy majig on its like slightly a bit of trouble to stick back on..i just used my body weight and got it on and screw my masterbolt and done
