I missed out on the opportunity of becoming a classic z owner…DAMN!!!!I had to do it though because of my love for the 240sx…I was offered a perfectly fine 240z Datsun (my favorite car by the way) in exchange for nothing…MY PROBLEM - my father wouldn’t let me have two cars on the property at once…So it came down to getting rid of the sx to get the z, or step by the z and keep the sx…After finding out that the z was a 280z (which requires emissions testing) instead of a 240z, I passed up the offer…Don’t get my wrong id love to own any gen. classic Zs… and I would own it if pops would have let me…

Sucks man. You will have other opportunities though, s30 Zs are not particularly hard to find.

For free?

You couldn't just find a place to keep it, maybe at a friend's or something? Hell, I'd park her on the road (in an overnight parking area) if I had to, as long as I could get the car.

They are if you consider the fact that it was in perfect running condition and was free...
