sooo my car ran fine for a month after a rebuild and just snapped its timing chain due to the drivers side guide plastic coming off and a link catching the edge of the metal part of the guide, DO NOT buy ebay rebuild kits , sigh. it all happened from hitting a man hole cover this car is starting to get extremely frustrating. in process of repairing, ordered a new kit from frsport.com. thinking about trading the p.o.s when repaired

i really appreciate all the support guys. i got the new timing kit today its osk brand made in japan looks way better quality than the ebay junk. i got it all together and accidentally set the timing opposite what i thought lol ill fix it tomorrow got the ole trusty service manual out.

as a update i tore it apart and found there was no comp on cylinder one due to a bent exhaust valve. today i finally mustered up the courage to jump in again and work on this car. got parts ordered from o reillys will have it done tomorrow hopefully
