HAD to ask: RB25 vs RB25 NEO HG???

I recently blew the HG that came with my rb25 engine rebuild kit. I had what I thought was an OEM RB25 HG but when I put it on the 1 water port and one other opening was blocked partially. I'm pretty sure the one from my kit lined up perfect (I know it lined up atleast MUCH better) but now I'm concerned if I need a NEO specific HG I never saw one while looking during my build I was sure there was no differnce. Perhaps this is just some random Nissan HG that is almost identical to a rb25 it had no part number so I have nothing to reference.





Literally everything else lines up perfect beside those 2 openings thought I lucked out and didn't have to order a new one.

Just wanted input before I order an OEM HG with my next check...

This came with my motors, thanks Carl!!! Glad to have the info I needed. Get paid on the 4th know the cheapest place from looking around to get an OEM HG? Frsport is close by to me

true...i think they're the same tbh, they look almost identical.
