Wow i wasn't for sure who was going to win cause my car kind of stutters alittle bit on the launch. I put some octane boost in before the race, i beat him by at least 2 car lenghs. This is a guy who races alot so it really meant somthing to me when i beat him, his friends said i went alittle early but he was a good sport and said no, he won fair and square.......do you guys have any stories about your first race after you did your swap?......i set up my next race with a buddy that has a Trans Am with the LT1.

I'm not big into street-racing, but there is a desolate highway nearby where some friends go out late at night and do some runs.

So far I've beat my buddy's stock Audi S4, well-modded Evo8, and when I turned up the boost, my buddy's sr20'd 240 that runs in the 7's in the 1/8th.

Now, I've actually got the car running right and will turn the boost up to 20psi instead of 18.

Well i don't race in town, there is a unfinished highway and we get together before we race and plan it out so when we go out there we spend no later then a few secs till we are organized, that way we are in and out and i only race at night that way you can see head lights from miles away. But i know the risk is always there. thanks for your input though.
