Can someone please explain the hacked mafs theory and how to do this? I did a search and found alot of post of alot of people who knew what it was but no one explaining it. Thanks.

ill explain it real quickly because there is already so much information on this already.u take the MAFS unit and strip it down to pretty much the sensor itself then u are going to use the sensor like a blow through set-up. the way a hack MAF is different is you use a larger diameter piping than the sensor can measure. that way there is air that is sneeking by the MAF that is not getting measured. since you have more air going into the engine now you need more fuel going into the engine. if the larger diameter piping allows 30% more air to go by the sensor unmeasured you have to get injectors that are 30% larger than stock. now that you have 30% more air and 30% more fuel you can make your engine make a larger boom at near stock A/F ratios. no need for expensive electronics to add and manage fuel. for all the details and proper piping measurements to run SR 370cc injectors do a search because i know it has been covered.

I was thinking about this a bit, and he said when he did it mathematically correct he ended up running a bit lean. Consider that under boost less fuel will be injected because there is a positive pressure in the intake manifold and thus the pressure differences between the intake and the fuel rail. You could maybe increase your fuel pressure by the same amount of boost and do it via perfectly with math.

The Factory fuel pressure regulator compensates for this. It equalizes the pressures to the relative difference in pressure between the manifold and the fuel rail always remains the same.
