Hack 2007 M35 Nav Only play DVD's?

I have an 07 M35 with the nav and premium upgrade bose. Not technology package just 6 to 8 speaker upgrade. I have the DVD in the glovebox for the DVD-nav which I hacked to latest version

Is there a simple way to add DVD or ipod video playback to the TV screen, be great to play video podcast in morning like new and espn on screen I do have the iSimple ipod adapter added

I doubt the player itself can playback movies, but you should be able to add your own player and interface it with the screen. I'm not terribly sure of the hardware set-up for the 07's but TVandNav2go and avelectronic have interfaces that allow you to splice in your own source. That's how I have a back-up camera and the DVD player playing on the NAV screen in my Titan.
