H4, H7? Lighting standards wtf

I've been trying to find a decent source on what exactly H1,H3,H4,H7, Hb3,Hb4 mean and have found little... I bought H7 bulb for my 93 240sx but I dont know if there is even a housing I can use with them... I know there are some H4 housing kits and I was wondering If I could use those with the H7 bulbs and still get good lighting (one headlight is out right now). Anyways even more important than solving my problem specifically is I need a place to read up on this stuff!

PLEASE ANYONE?! I GIVE GOOD HEAD! :eek:

dude, go to the store, find a H4 bulb and a H7 bulb and compare them.you can keep the head to yourself, method man
