So I've been doing some research on this and for some reason I am not getting a straight forward comparison. I've read that the beam patterns are different, fine. I am not too concerned on pattern just output of light. If someone has perhaps a comparison of an h4 e code and a dot that would be great. I ordered me some Autopal dot approved headlamps and now I'm worried I probably should have ordered the -codes instead. I do know it should be 10x better than the s*** ebay black housings I currently have which is like not having the headlights on at all. One last inquiry, would a hid set work well on these? Or am I better off using phillips extreme visions? Perhaps pics of that too. Any feedback appreciated.

The same guys are going to come into this thread and say the same things as they did in the other thread. ;)

Bottom line the best housings you can get are the Cibie E Codes and the Philips Extreme Vision bulbs. You can compare to these images just they will be a little brighter with the Extreme Vision bulbs vs. the Extreme Powers that he was using.

Go ahead and try them with the HID kit if you must. If you do not like it sell the HID kit and get the Philips Extreme Vision. I have a pair for sale.

Hey Omega I installed my auto pal dot today and am using 4300 hid. It closely resembles the photo above. So I didn't make a mistake with the DOT I guess.

Did you just said that you put HID's in those housings?
