I got a set of H4 bulbs as a gift. I understand that the Versa uses H4 55W bulbs but the package says "H4 60/55 W". What does the "60" mean ? The bulbs are 12 V. Are these bulbs ok to use ?
The brand is Luminics. Light is ultra white 5,150K.

55/60 is low beam/high beam, yes they are ok to use.

You risk getting your wires too hot and melting the insulation causing a short and then a fire. NEVER use bulbs rated at higher wattage unless you upgrade your wiring harness. This would then definitely void your warranty!Justforfun wrote:what about 55/100 or 85/100 will they work?

At 55/100, there's a very small chance that you can get away with it. I wouldn't risk it. 85/100, you're asking for trouble definitely. If you're going to go about 55/65, just upgrade the harness.Justforfun wrote:what about 55/100 or 85/100 will they work?
