question about h&r studs, i ordered h&r spacers/lugs for my s13 and after i installed the lugs they were not as tight as the stock one would be. i can work the lugs out of the hub with my fingers. could it be that h&r put the wrong lugs in the box? or is my hub just worn out? so is the s13 lugs bigger or smaller than the s14 on the stud shoulder?

did you get the front or rear ones? 240sx have different diameter studs on the front and rear axles. i know this is true for s14, but not sure about s13. might be worth checking into.

I just did a rotor and brake job on my friends 92 240.We had to replace 7 studs and used the same lugs on stock studs and new studs no problems.

no, the thread pitch / diameter is the same front to rear, but the knurl on the studs is different. at least on s14.
