As you guys know ive been pondering the idea of lowering my rogue .. well now that i decided to go for it I cant. Seems from a few places ive called they are in Back order and no one can tell me when they will be available and or if they will be available.

At this point does anyone have any ideas what i can do. Or does anyone know of a shop which might have a set or a member selling a set.

I also know the european quashqui is the same as the Rogue , do the springs fit ?

Eibach makes it for that truck.. Will they work on the rogue >?

Also for those wondering .... the 20s look great and ride is good. 245 40 20 is decently padded so noice is not bad. :dblthumb:

Please help ... once i figure out the lowering issue i can then begin to take pictures.

for now

my 08 has the 2011 bumper with the black ice grill
20 inch tsw wheels and 245 40 20 michelin primacy

lowering and leather kit still to come :bigthumb:

Called H&R and they tell me they are not out yet. All the ebay sellers who are selling these springs really dont have them. Eibach tells me they don't have a kit for the rogue. When i asked them about the Eibach kit for the Qashqui they tell me they have never tried it on the rogue and cannot recommend the kit. At this point not sure what to do. Makes me angry that H&R is advertising something they are still working on.

Anyone have suggestions >?

If no kit exist maybe that is why the people who are using other kits are getting blown shocks.

Any suggestions ????

My suggestion is to borrow money from a good friend or family member. I vaguely remember that finances are tought to come by in this recession but it is possible. There are many ways I save a few bucks like riding my bike when considering the cost of gas. Instead of going to the theater, visit a redbox or a library. Perhaps you eat at a fast food joint occassionaly and frequenting that less often is another way to save more dollars. Some personal vices cost money; depending where you live a pack of cigarettes can differ from $5-10. I always tell friends to stop smoking to save all that money they use on smokes. Skip the ocassional friday night get together at the bar to save alcohol entertainment money. Moreover, the use coupons of coupons is like money to me. Generic no brand stuff is just as good at original store groceries and cheaper too. Don't forget rebates. All these scenarios is cash in your pocket. :naughty:

In other words, you may need to give up a few pleasures to gain the pleasure or fixing up your Rogue. Sacrifices.

Then register on a online site like ebay and buy some availiable springs.

TRANCEBOY,

If you remember my other posts regarding the H&R springs...

EDDNOG imported his from Europe and they were for the Qashqai. Read up on his posts... you'll see where he bought his. ;)

Here is a hint to get you started: post5734456.html

Ed sold his springs to SenorPayne7 earlier this year. AFAIK these are the only lowering springs I have seen installed by any member on this forum. It seems like the Qashqai springs are the only option and they have to be imported from Europe.

Is eddnog still in here ?
I dont see where he bought them from . I was thinking of ordering the Eibach springs for the qashqai but apperently their is a 5 seater model and a 7 seat model. Since the price is around 450 dollars for the springs i need to make sure what I buy will fit.

Any suggestions ? or is anyone selling a set . Id pay today if i could find a set in the states . :dblthumb:

Sigh... obviously my hint above wasn't enough... all you had to do was spend a few minutes reading EddNog's posts:

You are going to have to call or e-mail them to get a price as it's not listed on their website.

We only got the 5 passenger version here in North America... it's kinda obvious that you don't want the springs for the 7 passenger (Qashqai+2).

The OEM Nissan springs are different between the FWD and AWD models. Obviously, chose the FWD version to match your Rogue.

The only differences between all these springs is the spring rate and ride height. All of them will fit, but the AWD & 7 passenger ones are designed for their heavier curb weight.

I can't help you there. I can imagine it will be very difficult and I can almost bet that ones that do exist were imported from Europe.

This guy named turbocad6 used H&R springs on his Infiniti Fx35. Even though its based on the 350Z platform, it's small like a Rogue. Hotness!

He is absolutely the best person by far I have ever come across online or in real life who has modified a Nissan. Incredible! I believe he is just a regular person who learned everything on his own! :thewave:

I have to say I'm upset with myself. tHe wheels I bought had a gun metal finish to them and well. They lasted about ten hours and I'm back to stocks rims. I do have to say I liked the feel of 20s but overall hated the look of a dark gun metal rim. Only rim I think I would like would be the Giovanna kilis in hyper silver. However I bought brand new tires and am gonna have to stay with stock rims for a while. If anyone wants to buy a set of TSW rims cheap let me know .
