I have racing hart c3's-they don't fit 300zx brakes which I already bought with the understanding that most 17'' aftermarket wheels allow caliper clearance. To make the brakes fit I needed spacers. So I got a set for the front and back. To make a long story short I can't get the longer wheels studs to fit right. They seem to go in ok but they wiggle a little and if I tap them gently they come out.

I've read that they back studs are smaller than the front in some way- don't know if thats correct or not. Both boxes have the same wheel studs and say the same thing on the box. I don't know why they would be wrong.

Maybe I'm not installing them correctly - any input would be appreciated, because i have five hundred dollars worth of brake components sitting around my damn garage-its pissing me off.

The wheel studs in the rear are smaller than they are in the front.

smaller how? length- width-. If its length then it doesn't matter because they came with the spacer and are longer than stock. I need more detail to understand.

Have you tried calling the company where you got it from and asked them? If you're lost and needs quick answer, they would be more than glad to help you out. They did sell you the product, they should know the application.

I would also add some thread lock to the knurled part, just to make cetain they dont push out the backside while installing your wheel, because that would mean tearing it all back apart just to put the stud back in. Been there, done that.

How big are these, where did you get them, and how much were they?

Thanks

The knurl is the ridged part near the head of the stud, just before the threads. This press into the hub and keeps it from moving out. Thread lock is a 'glue' that helps keep metal parts together when they are supposed to stay together. Most auto parts stores sell Loc Tite or similar.
