Stick with Eibachs, I don't believe anyone on this altima forum has a pair of H&R's for their coupes.

No need for blind judgment. No one has the H&R's because they have just been made available for sale; that has nothing to do with their quality or value.

exactly... which is why i started the post... well i did a little research and compared the two. the Eibachs seem to be a little more comfortable and responsive than the H&R's but the H&R's increase your handling and lower your car a little more. thats what i found out its on tire rack Right here: http://www.tirerack.com/suspen...d.jspso yea i'm going with the Eibachs

i just looked on both eibach and h&r sites to compare how much they lower the car. eibach Front 1.4" Back 1.2" h&r Front 1.5" Back 1.0". i wish they h&r had more of a drop in the rear. i guess im going to with eibachs as well

Maybe the H&Rs will give the coupe a nice raked stance.

Good article. Looks like the H&Rs have an edge on the track and the Eibachs are a bit easier to live with day to day. All this is assuming that the results on their test car apply to an altima.

Thanks

Lets keep in mind when dropping our cars is that one of the reason why guys are going with the Eibach kit is because you don't need to mess with the camber...or should I say, a camber kit is not necessary. When you drop the car, you're essentially lowering the center of gravity of the vehicle; thus the tires will tilt in. If left alone, you'll go thru tires like nobody's business. IF you drop it too much, you'll need to buy an after market camber kit for both front and rear which is an added cost, not to mention the installation cost too

I feel like the H&R give a nice nose dive looke and hide that horrible wheel space in the front alot better then the ibach in the sedans?

Just wondering how you guys that are lowered on stock struts/shocks are finding their life cycle?

I know on some cars for example, you must replace the OEM Struts/Shocks with appropriate aftermarket units to compliment the new, higher rate aftermarket springs?
