I drive a stock s13 92 240sx with a leaking hose. So I followed a tutorial on how to replace the high pressure power steering hose and got stuck at trying to disconnect the bottom of them hose from the hardline.I believe its a 14mm nut that wont budge. I tried vice gripping the nut and turning the hose instead but that didnt work either.

I hope I dont have to disconnect the entire hardline piece just so I can unscrew it from the hose.....

I think that hose leaks on ever 240 ever made.... seriously I just bypassed my powersteering all together today so no more ps pump no more leaky hi preassure hose, none of that non sense to mess with. And now the car drifts so much better. You can really feel the car without that damn ps pump. Just harder to turn at low speed.

That's my advice. You just need a 1/2 to 1/4 reducer and a piece of 1/4 inch hose and some hose clamps for said hose. Connect P/S pump feed hose to 1/2 side of reducer, new hose to 1/4 inch side, other end of new hose to the metal hardline that the hi preassure hose connects to after the solenoid. Simple and effective.

Screw all that p/s noise. literally lol.
