Sup Ya.

I've been on these's fourms for about 1yr 1/2 so i've decided to finally sign up. There's a ton of great info here, and just to see if I could help out in someway or another, just like all you guys have done for me. Anyways, I was at H.I.N yesterday and was a little dissapointed with nobody representing the altima coupe. A ton of G, Z's and GTR but no altima coupe. Overall was still amazing to see all the incredible cars. Hopefully soon we get somebody in there.

Yes you're right...I thought Doc would at least have been there but I don't even know if thats his thing yet. Jeez there were 3 - 370Z's and only 2 4th Gen Altis (mine and one other guy), a few 3rd Gen Altis and thats it. Maybe next year for the A/C community, hell there there were even 2010 Genesis coupes there and they aren't even out yet lol.

Wait for a couple years or so and hopefully there will be more market for us. Genesis coupes are out and I will be test driving one soon .

More of a market...

Are you serious?

There are some pretty sick A/C's out there already and you guys did only come out a year after the sedans and they have been showing up since last year so there really isn't an excuse lol but who am I to say that.

I went and gave it a try this time around just so I could get it done and see where I am at...if you guys really want to think about it, look at the registration fee its $60 and you get 2 wristbands which basically gets you and another person anywhere in HIN for 2 days and thats basically the cost of 2 regular tickets so people could have tried. I learned a lot from this whole experience and next time I know exactly what to do...noone wins their first time unless they put quite literally a ton of $$$ in their cars so you really need the experience and the support of a good team.

My advice is start getting a team formed up for next year and start planning from now and hit the show by storm next year which will most likely be in San Diego at Qualcomm or downtown by PETCO (this is only a rumor that I heard at the admin tent last night).

I apologise for my slight bashing but I needed to get that off my chest after the night that I had lol.

it does go on tour and theres 2 shows in the bay area this season...check out http://www.hotimportnights.com for information and basically this is what I learned...don't go alone and alone as in solo (its much better and easier with a team), setup a very good team display because that will give you more points, make sure your car is clean and free from any damage whatsoever (even paint chips in the front will dock you points and dust is not your friend), everything is about presentation and first impressions not to mention its got to be sicker than your competition and trust me that there are some really rich teams out there (for example High End Performance had 3 cars in the Ultimate Unlimited competition that were prolly worth about a million $$$ and those were mostly Supras and Zs and Gs), and plan everything ahead of time and get everything done the day before the show starts, do not wait until the day of the show or you are already too late.

Good luck

Some of those's car are insane. Where do all these people get all this money from? seriously. Some of the things i saw at the show, were only things i could dream about.

Fast and Furious lol. Lets get a team for the altima going. Buy some civics with sunroof all black out and lets bust some trucks hahaha.

I would say most of those team get money from competition like at the race events or other small shows from winning. I would also say being sponsor by big company give them major discount on things.
