Here we go, I will check with Dave and Buster's today to see if it is ok if we take a large corner of the parking lot for meeting up. Hopefully they won't care if we are paying customers.

If they do, we might need a list of alternate locations we could do this thing.

Now if people are starting to say they are going to come from places like Macon and Tennessee. Why don't we figure out a cheap hotel nearby that folks could room up at and make it a one evening and the next day kind of thing.

The 240 convention that the 240s-over-atl crew put together was very similar.

Here is what I am thinking, tell me what you think:

Day1Meet and greet at D&B. - 6pmShow off the cars in a reserved corner of the lot. - 6pm to 7pmDinner, drinks, and games. 7pm -->Hotel (There is one right up the street @ Pleasant Hill Rd. 1/4 mile due north. hehehe....)

Day2Morning meet & greet at D&B lot - 10 amHead for the mountains. 10:45 am - 12 pmLunch 12 pm - 1 pmMountain run. 1 pm - 4 pm (Suches,Ga.)Meet to say later and brag about the corner you took at 75mph. 4 pm - 5pmHead home (wherever that is...)

What do you guys think?

The mountain run would be a 12 mile loop around Blood Mountain for those that are interested. Typically a good motorcycle ride with banked corners and hairpin turns that will try to put you in the passenger seat. I figure that we can do the loop a couple of times and get those little motorola radios so we can communicate between stops.

Not yet, I need to check with the hotel, D&B, the 240's-over-atl crew and then we should be able to put it all together with a date. I am looking at about a couple of weeks out at least.

Are we still going to do this? My car is nowhere near ready, so I think I'll bring my bike. I'm sure you all will get a kick out of it, good and bad. lol

I haven't had the time to really check it out. When would everyone like to do it? Maybe the first weekend in November? I am travelling to Vegas for a conference the middle of October and implementing a new active directory by the end of the month. November is the first free time i could organize it.

Well whenever you get it going you are going to have to let me know at least a month ahead so I can schedule time off at work.

I'm pretty much free anytime. I will adjust my schedule for whatever everyone decides. Is there any weekends that anyone can't do it?
